Tina is a sixth-year medical student at the University of Ljubljana. During her studies she has developed a great interest in eye disorders. She improved clinical skills at the Eye Clinic in Freiburg and is going to spend her summer in Utah in a laboratory of a renowned researcher in the field of Ophthalmology, professor David Križaj. Grateful for this opportunity she is convinced the research visit is going to add valuable experience to her future career.
Apart from interest in eye diseases, Tina enjoys spending her free time in the nature doing hiking, climbing as well as alpine and cross country skiing.
