ASEF Reading Club

CS@ASEF – Reading club in the field of computer science

Alumni come together in reading science circles. The circles connect students at home and around the world. In reading scientific circles, scholarship holders follow the latest guidelines according to each field. A computer club is currently operating. The purpose of the circles is to connect with each other and at the same time follow science and develop in the process.

In the circles, the participants come together once every two months. There are 5-13 people in each circle. Each meeting is conducted by one person taking the lead in the meeting with an introductory presentation of the topic, followed by a discussion on the topic.

In comparison, the reading circle in the field of computer science in 2020 was held once a month. Slovenian students at home and around the world were involved. They followed the guidelines of science. At each meeting, one scholarship holder took the initiative and made an introduction to the topic, followed by a debate.

Through the implementation of the circle, scholarship holders at home and around the world connected and built a core in their field. We notice that more and more people are joining the circle. In 2020, 3-7 people were included in the circle, and in 2021 we record about 15 of them at each meeting.

Main topic 2021/2022:
