Albreht Tit
Tit Albrecht is an expert researcher for health services and health systems at the National Institute of Public Health. He completed a specialization in social medicine and then successfully completed his Master’s Degree in Public Health in Rotterdam and a doctoral study on the topic of transition in the Slovenian Healthcare at the University of Amsterdam. He is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana at the Department of Public Health and acts as a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Public Health Association and Vice President of the Health Services Research Section of the same organization. Since 2006, he has been actively involved in the development of policies in the field of comprehensive cancer treatment in the European Union, firstly under the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and then the coordinator of joint actions in the field of cancer control policies in the European Union.
