Dr. Tadej Krivec on Probabilistic Forecasting of Electricity Consumption
The March ASEF Young Minds lecture was held in cooperation with LokalPatriot in Novo mesto. This time the lecturer was dr. Tadej Krivec, 2021 ASEF Junior Fellow and researcher at the Jožef Štefan Institute, who presented probabilistic forecasting of electricity consumption using machine learning.
As part of the popular science lecture, Tadej also presented his research visit, which he carried out at the University of Sydney in Australia in collaboration with ASEF mentor dr. Gregor Verbič. You can read more about the lecture at the link below.
The May lecture of the ASEF Young Minds cycle is taking place on the 24th. Tijan Prijon,ASEF Junior Fellow generation 2021 and a physics student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, will give a lecture on the use of machine learning in cosmology.
