The second ASEF Young Minds lecture took place in Sežana in cooperation with MC Podlaga and the Student Club of Sežana. Domen Pregeljc, an ASEF Junior Fellow of the 2022 generation and a doctoral student at the Swiss State University of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) presented ‘Multiscale Computational Modeling: From Electronic Structure to Cellular Mechanisms’.

Domen also shared his experience from his ASEF research visit that he completed in San Francisco at the University of California under the mentorship of Dr. Andrej Šali. Feel free to read more about the lecture at the link below.

The next lecture in ASEF Young Minds cycle is taking place on 24th of May. Tijan Prijon, ASEF Junior Fellow generation 2021 and a physics student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, will give a lecture on the use of machine learning in cosmology.
