A Discussion Group of Computer Science Fellows Meets

November 03, 2021

Every other month, a discussion group of computer science Fellows meets to discuss articles from different areas of their interest. After a long run of online meetings, their last discussion was carried out in a hybrid mode – some of the Fellows met at the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS) in Ljubljana, and others joined virtually. The theme of the meeting were transformers (a type of neural network architecture, not the robots), as Fellow Gašper presented Swin Transformers (https://arxiv.org/pdf/2103.14030.pdf), which are state of the art in the field of computer vision.

The meetings are open to all ASEF Fellows, so do join if interested!
