SAVAS Travel Grants Recipient Dr. Jernej ล tromajer on His Research Visit
๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ๐ท ๐ฆฬ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฟ visited ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐จ๐ช ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ at ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ช๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป-๐ ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ป. There he researched and gathered data on the development of cooperatives in the US in recent years. His colleagues from the UW Center have provided him with data, case studies, and new tools to research cooperative sector development. The new data and exchange of knowledge have enabled dr. ล tromajer to get an in-depth look at cooperative development in Wisconsin.
In the future dr. ล tromajer will be able to use the obtained knowledge and skill to research cooperative development in Slovenia and is planning to publish an article on this topic.
The research visit was done within the scope of ๐ฆ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฆ (๐ฆ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฆ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐บ) ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐, a program that is organized jointly by ๐๐ฆ๐๐ and ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐บ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ to promote new and deepen existing cooperation in the field of education, science, and entrepreneurship between the Republic of Slovenia and the United States.
