The ASEF Institute is expanding its team! We are inviting an organized, proactive, and communicative individual to join us and take on a key role in the development, management, and execution of one of our new scholarship and research programs.

The ASEF Institute is dedicated to developing top Slovenian scientific talent and connecting Slovenia with the world’s most prestigious academic environments. For over 10 years, we have been providing top Slovenian students with invaluable, fully funded 10-week research visits to leading global universities such as Stanford, Harvard, and Princeton. With a rich global network of distinguished Slovenian professors and a proven track record in organizing research visits, we strengthen Slovenian knowledge and co-shape the future of (domestic) science.

What will your job entail?

• Participating in the establishment and development of processes for implementing new scholarship and research programs, as well as their ongoing management
• Coordination of project activities and events, and communication with partners
• Monitoring tenders and call for proposals
• Preparation of project applications
• Drafting content and financial reports
• Administrative tracking of projects
• Collaborating in the development of new programs and initiatives

Who are we looking for?

• An individual with excellent written skills
• Someone who is passionate about projects, developing new opportunities, and operational work
• A team player who enjoys working with people and building partnerships
• An organized and meticulous person with a strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with tendering procedures and project management is a major plus
