Anja is currently a fourth-year undergraduate student of Mathematics and Computer Science at University of Oxford in the UK. Alongside her degree she has always been fascinated by linguistics. During her studies she discovered she can combine her interests by focusing on the areas of Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics. She is currently working on an undergraduate project in Machine translation. Anja wants to further study the field and gain more research skills, which is why she is excited to work with prof. Gašper Beguš at at the University of California, Berkeley. In spare time, she likes to dance, play table tennis and travel.
