Žavbi Juš

Juš Žavbi finished an MSci in Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham. As a part of studies he conducted a placement at the National Institute of Biology in Slovenia working on the glioblastoma microenvironment. For his masters dissertation he was a part of a research effort looking into protein expression in the schizophrenic brain based on a rat model. After his studies he was employed at the Physiology Institute in Prague conducting research looking into the role of microtubules in epilepsy. Neuroscience has always been the focus of his academic career and he will be further expanding his scientific repertoire in Dr. David Križaj’s lab at the University of Utah working in the field of neuronal signaling and mechanotransduction in the eye.
