Tutkaluke Taylor

Taylor Tutkaluke will be finished her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management at the University of Manitoba in May 2022. With a background as a competitive Ringette athlete, Taylor is now a personal trainer and group fitness instructor that is passionate about using physical activity as preventative healthcare. Taylor has worked as a research assistant on projects that include Indigenous athletes in sport, how self-compassion affects one’s diagnosis of pre-diabetes, and self-compassion and physical activity. She hopes to explore topics such as physical literacy, active transportation, and physical activity adherence in Slovenija throughout her stay in Ljubljana.
