Šteger Tine

Tine Šteger is a Master’s student at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in the field of political science at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences. He is particularly interested in the field of community based local and regional development, which takes into account ethical, environmental, and other relevant dilemmas. In the past few years, he has deepened his understanding of the functioning of the modern world through different internships and study visits. He completed his internship at the Institute for Political Management (IPM) in Ljubljana as well as at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Additionally, he participated in various international educational and humanitarian activities abroad, such as Youth Leadership Program with Central Europe in the United States or project named Never Lose Your Sould in Uganda.

This summer Tine will visit prof. Sara Dolničar at the University of Queensland, Australia, and work in her research group in the field of sustainable tourism.
