Teja Golobič is a first-year PhD student at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. On the basis of her previous academic achievements, her PhD tuition has been funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia. She graduated in law and obtained her master’s degree in law, both cum laude, at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in many international summer schools, law students’ competitions and research projects. During her visit to Utrecht University, Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance, she upgraded her knowledge of corporate law. Her current scientific article, which discusses the regulation of water supply, was published in the leading administrative law journal in Slovenia, Javna uprava. As her current PhD research focuses on administrative law, European Union law, competition law, public-private partnerships and concession contracts, she will visit Prof. John T Plecnik, an expert in taxation and public policy, to cooperate with him at the CSU. Teja is also very passionate about gender equality, equal opportunities, and, outside her academic pursuits, poetry and dance.
