Domen is a student of Chemistry with Molecular Physics at Imperial College London. He is currently working on his master’s thesis in the field of machine learning on graphs. His research interests are mainly centered around the use of mathematics, physics, and computer science to study relevant biological or medicinal problems. During the past 6 years at the National Institute of Chemistry with Prof. Janez Mavri he was focusing on the central nervous system, describing it at different length and time scales. He was also gathering research experience at the University of Oxford and at BIA Separations. He wants to deepen his knowledge in building models to describe phenomena at different scales. Domen is looking forward to working with Prof. Andrej Šali during his research visit as well as participating in numerous other ASEF activities in the coming years.
