Luka is a 6th year medical student at the University of Maribor. He is the co-founder of the SiOHCA project, which is successfully laying the foundations for tracking out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in Slovenia. In his free time he runs the Doctors project at the Sledilnik scientific society. He enjoys working in a wide range of fields, researching bacteriophages, nutrition and health technology. His awards include the Dr Uroš Seljak commendation in 2022 and the Perlach commendation in 2023. He also reviews articles submitted to the BMJ open and Epidemiology and Infection.
