Kmecl Peter

Peter Kmecl is an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana. His particular interests are robotics, automation, and embedded systems. After developing simpler device-building and programming tasks as a hobby, he has been working at the Faculty’s Laboratory for Metrology and Quality as a student, collaborating in a number of projects, most notably in the construction of optical magnetometers for the Jožef Stefan Institute.

Peter will spend this summer working with professor Domen Novak at The University of Wyoming, learning about working methods in an advanced research environment and getting to know cutting-edge technology in rehabilitation robotics. Peter is an avid sailor and skier. In addition, he likes to cook and – obviously – build and program various electronic devices in his free time.
