Sara is a first year Master’s student of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Ljubljana. In 2021 she completed her undergraduate studies by defending her diploma thesis in which she used machine learning to develop an algorithm for detecting telecommunication fraud in a network with several million subscribers. She previously worked in a team that developed a legal disclosure solution for mobile IP traffic. Her interests include machine learning, cryptography and the use of artificial intelligence in medicine and biology. In the following year she is visiting prof. Jure Leskovec at Stanford University. She is excited to gain new research experience.. Sara volunteers as a tutor at the Faculty for Mathematics and Physics. She is a recipient of the MOL scholarship for prospective students. In her spare time she enjoys climbing and scuba diving.
