Neumann Matej

I am a second-year mathematics master student at the Faculty for Mathematics and Physics at Ljubljana, where I finished my undergrad as well. In the next academic year, I will start my PhD studies in the US. At FMF I have been volunteering as a tutor for younger mathematics students at the University of Ljubljana since my second year. This means that each week I am available to undergraduate students and help them with the problems they are having in their coursework and solving homework. During my masters studies, I worked as a student researcher at Jozef Stefan Institute, in the department of artificial intelligence, where I analysed causal relationships between indicators. In my free time, I often volunteer at ZPM. During my ASEF visit, I will work with Prof. dr. Bojan Mohar on a project from Spectral graph theory.
