David Nabergoj graduated from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana as a Master of computer and data science. Throughout his studies, he worked on various interdisciplinary projects that connected computer science with medicine, sports, industrial applications and other areas. He is currently applying for a PhD position at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science in Ljubljana. His primary research interests are artificial intelligence and machine learning, both their theory and application. Most recently, he has been working with the Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics, developing machine learning algorithms and applying them to problems in Bayesian statistics and physics. He is grateful to be joining Prof. Uroš Seljak at the University of California, Berkeley and to have the opportunity to conduct research there.
