Maruša Lekše is a final year Master’s student of Mathematics at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, where she also completed her undergraduate degree. During her studies, she worked as a tutor for Computer Science classes. She also participated in a summer workshop focusing on 2-crossing-critical graphs, after which she continued to work on the topic with one of the supervisors and some classmates from the workshop. As a part of the ASEF Junior Fellowship, Maruša will have the opportunity to visit prof. dr. Mateja Šajna at the University of Ottawa, where she will work on projects related to Graph Theory. She is excited to participate in ASEF and gain new experience and knowledge. In her free time, she enjoys reading, diving, taking long walks in nature and playing board games with friends.
