Drnovšek Klemen

Klemen Drnovšek is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor. He completed his undergraduate studies with an average grade of 9.77. He was the recipient of the Rector’s award for study achievements and the recipient of the GRAWE Excellence Award, awarded by the Faculty of Law to the best student in the generation. He completed his undergraduate studies with honors on the topic of Exemption from Contractual Liability for Damages. His full-time employment is at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor, where he works as a research and teaching assistant for the scientific fields of contractual law, labor law and law of obligations. At the Faculty of Law, he participates in various projects, among which are projects related to environmental law and environmental protection issues.

Besides his university and project work Klemen actively participates in different organizations. He is a manager of the wind orchestra and the vice-president of the Law Society Maribor. As part of the ASEF fellowship program, Klemen will be visiting prof. Nives Dolšak at the University of Washington, Seattle.
