Tadej is currently a final year student at the University of Ljubljana, University of Veterinary Medicine. Over the past couple of years, Tadej developed a strong interest in Cancer Medicine. Last year he embarked on laboratory-based research where he has been attempting to identify the predictive value of several tumor markers in animals treated with metronomic chemotherapy. He is grateful to be given a chance to join Dr Fon Tacer’s lab at the Texas Tech University this summer. After a long day of working, Tadej likes to spend his leisure time outdoors. He especially enjoys discovering new places and doing sports, mainly road cycling, hiking and running.
