Kukavica Jaka

Jaka Kukavica is a final year LL.B. student at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. His research interests are broadly based in constitutional and human rights aspects of various public law issues. In the past, he has researched procedural obligations and (European) consensus as an interpretative method under the European Convention on Human Rights. He is going to work with Prof. Urška Velikonja at Georgetown University, researching the procedural rights of victims in securities compliance enforcement procedures and other similar procedures from a constitutional and comparative perspective. In his spare time, Jaka is an avid (yet average) rock climber, a sad landlocked surfer, and is overcompensating for a lack of waves in his everyday life by training to run the 2018 Pyongyang Marathon.
