Jaka Godejša is studying for a Master’s degree in Tourism at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica in Portorož. He graduated under the mentorship of Dr. Dejan Križaj with the title: Use of non-fungible tokens in the event industry. As part of his thesis, he organised the first dinner in Slovenia for which guests made reservations by purchasing NFTs via a blockchain network. During his studies, he actively participates in the organisation of events and community building activities of the UP FTŠ sTOUdio Turistica research and development programme. Before continuing his studies at postgraduate level, he worked at Fairbnb.coop, an international startup, with which he was accepted into the renowned MIT Design X incubator in Venice. During the ASEF Junior Fellowship program, Jaka will visit prof. dr. Kaja Antlej at the Deakin University in Victoria, Australia.
