The closing event of the “Naj dijak 2024” project: ASEF proudly supports young talents
Dijaska organizacija Slovenije (DOS) and ASEF organized the final event of the “Naj Dijak 2024” project on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in the Great Hall of the Ljubljana City Hall.
The purpose of the project is to recognize and build exceptional high school students who, in the 2022/2023 school year, have excelled not only in the academic field, but also through active participation in various extracurricular activities.
At the ceremony, we announced the winner and awarded prizes for second and third place. ASEF proudly supported this event and participated in the prize fund for the winner.
The winner of this year’s competition is Luka Vaupot. Luka received a unique opportunity to continue his education at one of the prestigious universities in the USA. Luka will travel to Berkeley University, where he will be mentored by the renowned professor of astronomy and physics, dr. Uroš Seljak, upgrading his knowledge. We are proud to have dr. Uroš Seljak among ASEF mentors.
The second place was won by the student Maša Colja, and the third place by the student Špela Šemrl. Both received a gift voucher worth EUR 30 for a book by the renowned Slovenian author Drago Jančar.
ASEF sincerely congratulates all awardees for their outstanding achievements and wishes them great success in the future. We would like to thank the Student Organization of Slovenia for the excellent implementation of the project and the opportunity to contribute to awarding young talents.
We are proud to support young people and enable them to acquire new skills at a global level. ASEF looks forward to future collaborations and further opportunities to promote education among young people.
