As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to you. May this special day be filled with joy, surrounded by family, friends, and those who matter most to you.

This year, ASEF is proud to mark 10 years of making a meaningful impact. For over a decade, we’ve empowered young Slovenian researchers to excel abroad and welcomed young people with Slovenian roots to Slovenia, helping them grow academically, professionally, and culturally.

Thanks to your support, 251 ASEF Junior Fellows have traveled the world, conducted groundbreaking research, and connected with 137 Slovenian mentors, as well as Slovenian communities and cultures. These experiences have shaped their futures, helping them grow into the next generation of leaders and innovators.

In addition, we’ve organized more than 150 science popularization events for the public and led over 10 research projects on key topics such as brain drain and the return of domestic experts. We’re also incredibly proud of our Tutorial Program, launched five years ago, through which we’ve helped 98 young minds grow and develop.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the people who make a difference in our lives, and we are profoundly grateful for you – our donors. Your generosity drives ASEF’s mission and ensures that these life-changing experiences can continue.
