Andraž Tori is the guest of episode 7. He is the co-founder of Zemanta, which Outbrain acquired in 2017, and now Head of Recommendations and Data Science there. Zemanta is the world’s first multi-channel demand-side platform built for engagement and performance He is also co-founder of Silicon Gardens Fund, a private venture capital fund.
In episode 7 he discusses Outbrains’ IPO and its relevance for Slovenia, he talks more about online advertising and the opportunities behind Web 3.0, whether Slovenia can develop an ecosystem of advertising-related companies, and what we should learn from mature startup ecosystems.
