Gašper Grad Completed His Research Visit To University of Queensland in Australia

2021 ASEF Junior Fellow from Slovenia Gašper Grad has recently completed his research visit. He collaborated with ASEF Mentor Prof. Sara Dolničar, Professor of Tourism at the University of Queensland, Australia , and her team. Gašper shared his impressions about the visit:

”I have been part of a multidisciplinary team working on a project within the Low Harm Hedonism Initiative (Low Harm Hedonism Initiative – Australian Institute for Business and Economics – University of Queensland (uq.edu.au)). The aim is to find ways to reduce the amount of food left uneaten on guest’s plates in hotel buffets. I participated in the literature review and tge designing of experiments. I have improved my skills, gained topic-related knowledge, and extremly valuable insight into the organization of research projects. Apart from work I visited North Stradbroke Island, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast, went for bicycle trips, joined a football team, and enjoyed the multi-cultural environment of Brisbane. I would like to thank prof. Sara Dolničar, her team, and ASEF for all the support.”
