ASEF Workshop: Investing for beginners with Marja Milič
On Tuesday, 26 November 2024, at 6 pm the ASEF Workshop: Investing for beginners took place at the Prešeren Hall SAZU in Ljubljana. The lecture was given by Marja Milič, Slovenian financial expert.
Marja Milič has more than 20 years of experience in investing on capital markets. She is a graduate economist and former journalist specialising in personal finance. Currently, she works as a digital content editor at Blooomberg Adria business media and at a regional vertical Markets and creates the financial podcast Money-How. She is also the editor and co-author of two books and a financial education manual for teachers.
The ASEF Workshop: Investing for beginners was aimed at ASEF Junior Fellows. In her lecture, Marja Milič highlighted the importance of long-term planning or smart money management for the future. She presented effective ways to increase inflows and optimize expenses, and talked more about keeping track of expenses and smart purchases. She also presented the power of the Yield-Penalty Account, trading accounts and trading platforms.
The event was successful in spreading knowledge about investing and money management. The ASEF Workshop: Investing for beginners was an informative event that contributed to improving the financial skills of ASEF Junior Fellows. Marja Milič presented the importance of effective money management, covering both saving and investing.
