ASEF Symposium 2025

We warmly invite you to the ASEF Symposium, which will take place on Monday, June 23, 2025, in the White Hall of the Grand Hotel Union, starting at 2:30 PM. The event will be hosted by Petra Jerič (RTV Slovenia), who will guide the discussions and create a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

This year’s symposium, titled “Between the Artificial and the Natural: Research at the Crossroads of a New Era” will focus on the impact of contemporary scientific and technological advancements on society, humanity, and the future. The central themes will be explored by distinguished speakers: Prof. Dr. Jure Leskovec, Prof. Dr. Verica Trstenjak, Prof. Dr. Damijan Miklavčič, and Robert Dolinar.

The symposium will bring together internationally recognized researchers, experts, and innovators working at the intersection of science, technology, and societal change. The event will conclude with a roundtable discussion featuring ASEF Fellows, highlighting the importance of mentorship and the role of young people in today’s research landscape.
