Hana Beloglavec
Bio:
Hana Beloglavec, a trombonist and educator, enjoys a dynamic career as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician. She teaches at Louisiana State University. As a regular member of Seraph Brass, she has performed and taught throughout the United States and internationally. Seraph Brass is the chamber ensemble in residence at the Artosphere Music Festival. With a keen interest in orchestral music, Beloglavec currently performs as a substitute trombonist with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Hana Beloglavec earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Northwestern University, where she studied with Michael Mulcahy, Douglas Wright, Timothy Higgins, Randall Hawes, and Christopher Davis. She completed her Master of Music degree at Yale University and her Bachelor of Music degree at Western Michigan University, studying under Scott Hartman and Dr. Steve Wolfinbarger. Application Requirements: Applicants for the ASEF Junior Fellowship program must submit recordings of two to three pieces (movements and/or etudes) in contrasting styles.
