Vince Vombergar is a rising junior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he is currently studying business. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Vince has deep roots in Slovenian culture, which were instilled in him by his grandparents, Maria and Vinko.

From a young age, Vince has been actively involved in the Slovenian community, attending Saint Vitus Slovenian School and Saint Vitus Parish. He has also had the opportunity to teach Slovenian youth about customs and traditions at Slovenska Pristava, a weekly Slovenian camp where he volunteers as a counselor.

Vince is looking forward to visiting Slovenia this summer and actively participating in research. Through his visit, he hopes to gain hands-on experience in consulting and market research by working with Slovenian businesses to promote tourism and strengthen the country’s economic standing in Europe. He eagerly anticipates learning more about his heritage and everything the country has to offer, while building close bonds with his fellow ASEF peers.
