Oliver Majer is finishing his undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Ljubljana and works as junior Artificial Intelligence researcher at the Jožef Stefan Institute, Slovenia. His primary research interests lie in computational biology and graph neural networks. He has gained research experience at the Jožef Stefan Institute, National Institute of Chemistry, and as a software engineer in industry roles.

As an ASEF Junior Fellow, he will visit Prof. Julija Zavadlav at the Technical University of Munich, where he is eager to contribute to research on multiscale modeling of fluid materials. In his free time, Oliver enjoys trail running (including ultramarathons), reading classical literature, and engaging in long philosophical discussions about life.
