Bio:

I am a master’s student of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana. Through my academic journey, I have developed a strong passion for exploring versatile fields of science. In my bachelor’s thesis, I compared different types of hydrogels used for the growth and differentiation of stem cells. However, during my masters’ studies I developed a particular interest in material science. Last year, I enriched my academic path by doing Erasmus+ exchange program at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, where I was a part of the international research group conducting a study on photonic crystal materials. During current academic year, I am planning to continue my research activity at IST in order to obtain my master’s degree.

Projects:

Since I was a kid, I have been fascinated about planes and spacecrafts, therefore, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to delve deeper into this field through the ASEF research visit at professor dr. Kaja Antlej. I look forward to be working on aerospace-related projects, meeting experts and gaining valuable insights into the academia and industry.

In my leisure time, sport has always played a significant role in my life. After finishing my professional ice hockey carrier I enjoy alpine skiing, cycling, running and windsurfing. Additionally, I love travelling, taking awesome pictures of nature, cooking and hanging out with my friends.

I am truly honored to be a part of ASEF junior fellowship program and super excited about the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead in this journey.
