Mark David Longar

Bio:

Mark David Longar is an MSc Machine Learning student at University College London and a machine learning researcher focused on AI reasoning and generalisation through graph-based methods. He completed his BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Ljubljana, where his undergraduate thesis was supervised by Assoc. Prof. dr. Lovro Šubelj and focused on graph-based deep learning and information propagation in relational graphs.

Projects:

He has worked as a Research Engineer at OECD.AI, leading the AI Incidents Monitor and building RAG-based tools for AI policy analysis. At the Jožef Stefan Institute, he has researched multi-hop reasoning with LLMs and consistent text-derived world models.
