Luka Jože Pušlar
Bio:
Luka Jože Pušlar is a bachelor’s student of Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana. He is currently taking a gap year to pursue multiple research projects at the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI), focusing on the application of machine learning models in experimental particle physics and the use of computer vision and data analysis in ecotoxicological experiments.
As a student researcher at JSI, he works on mathematical modeling and interdisciplinary projects, combining his passion for problem-solving in physics with machine learning techniques.
Projects:
Beyond academics, Luka enjoys sports, including football, judo, and running, as well as reading. As part of the ASEF exchange program, he will conduct research at the University of Cincinnati under the mentorship of Prof. Jure Zupan, focusing on neural networks and their applications in particle physics.
