My name is Jacob Tyler and I am studying astronomy and astrophysics at Villanova University, with the intention of also graduating with degrees in mathematics and physics. Previously, I conducted research in the field of photoelectric photometry of red supergiants, including Betelgeuse (Alpha Orionis) and CE Tauri (119 Tau).

During my visit to Slovenia, under the mentorship of Dr. Andrej Prša, I plan to research model solutions for an eclipsing binary star system.
