Gal Gantar
Bio:
Gal Gantar is a third-year undergraduate student of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana. His academic interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and cryptography, with a strong focus on graph neural networks, blockchain security, and zero-knowledge proofs. He is conducting research on the security of low-level smart contracts, polynomial commitments, and predicting impactful events using graph-based models. In addition to his academic work, Gal has extensive industry experience, particularly in blockchain development and security.
Projects:
He has also won multiple first-place awards at global hackathons, including ETHGlobal Bangkok, ETHGlobal Istanbul, ETHGlobal London, and LambdaHack Brussels. He will be visiting Professor Dawn Song at UC Berkeley for a research internship, where he aims to deepen his expertise in AI security and decentralized technologies.
