Elizabeth Stupica is a rising junior at The Ohio State University. She is majoring in health sciences and plans to pursue graduate studies after graduation to become a physical therapist.

Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Elizabeth developed a passion for Slovenian culture through regular visits to her grandmother’s house, where she learned about the language and traditional Slovenian dishes. Additionally, she attended Slovenian language school at St. Vitus Parish once a week from elementary through high school, and spent her summers attending events at Slovenska Pristava.

During her stay in Slovenia, Elizabeth looks forward to exploring the country, spending time with family, and learning the language. She hopes to gain a better understanding of the healthcare field during her visit, which will help her prepare for graduate school and her future career.
